Data controller

ABC Translation is the data controller for the personal data you give us. Contact: info@abc-office.eu.

What data do we process?

When you use the contact form or email us, we process your name, email, phone number if given, the description of your job and any documents you attach. Documents may contain sensitive information, which we use only to carry out the job.

Purpose and legal basis

We use the data to answer your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out the job (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b)), and to meet legal bookkeeping requirements (Art. 6(1)(c)).

Retention

Enquiries that do not lead to a job are deleted no later than 12 months after the last contact. Data linked to jobs is kept as long as bookkeeping law requires.

Recipients

We share data only with translators, notaries, authorities and partners when necessary to carry out the job. Email is handled by Google Workspace, and the website is hosted by Infomaniak in Switzerland – a country the European Commission recognises as providing adequate protection.

Cookies

This website does not use cookies for analytics or marketing.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection. Email us to exercise them. You can complain to the Danish Data Protection Agency (datatilsynet.dk).
